Qualification Courses


This qualification is designed for students with intermediate English language skills. They can communicate at a basic level in their social and community life as well as in the workplace.


This qualification is for students who may have already completed or partially completed further or higher education, those who wish to upgrade their qualifications and those wishing to enter higher level qualifications for the first time.

This qualification is designed for complete beginners in massage and reflects the role of massage therapists who provide general health maintenance treatments. Study units include First Aid, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. For Students wanting to continue study after successful completion of this qualification can apply for course credit for the HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage.


This qualification reflects the role of Remedial Massage Therapists who work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restriction in ROM (Range of motion). Study units include First Aid, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Students who successful complete this qualification will be able to apply individually to Australian Health Funds to enable their clients to receive health rebates.

The HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage GAP course has been designed for Massage Therapists who have completed the superseed HLT40312 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice qualification. MTI recognise that some skills and knowledge learnt in this qualification have a direct relationship to new units of competency in the HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage. The GAP course will enable you to complete your qualification over a shorter duration through an express RPL process while still meeting massage association and health fund requirements.


The Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy aims to provide students with skills and knowledge in treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Students will also gain skills in advanced assessment and treatment techniques, as well as knowledge of myofascial dry needling procedures.
